 VISION STATEMENT 

The Music Ministry aims to create an atmosphere that glorifies God, edifies the body of Christ, unifies the community and encourages an authentic connection with God.
 

 Music, Worship and Fine Arts Ministry (MWFA)

MWFA integrates music, dance, drama, and visual arts harmoniously to enhance the worship experience and help fulfill the Abner Baptist Church vision. Members serve weekly and support the Pastor and church on special outreach events. The Music Ministry also offers opportunities to participate in annual workshops and concerts. Membership in all of our ensembles is open at all times during the year.

Abner Band

The band consists of anointed minstrels who sets the tone and bring synergy to all elements of the worship experience through instrumentation.


Praise & Worship Team

A team of vocalist who set the atmosphere, teach, demonstrate and lead the praise and worship experience.


Kingdom Kids Choir 

Children age Pre-K thru fifth grade. Repertoire of songs appropriate to children’s voices.


Young Adult Choir

Preteen-30 age range.  Repertoire consist mostly of contemporary hymns and gospel arrangements.


Hines Choir

Adult Singers: Repertoire of traditional and contemporary hymn, spirituals. 


Male Chorus

Adult Male singers: Repertoire of anthems, hymn arrangements, spirituals, traditional and contemporary gospel.


United Voices Choir

Members of all Adult Choirs: Repertoire of anthems, spirituals, hymn arrangements, and contemporary gospel songs.
